    This wouldn't be good even if optional because who would want something that damages terrain? We already have transponders.

    Also it would look too much like a blue sword and the laser rifle already does 9 damage.

    As matey said, this idea will get rejected because without plat, sim wouldn't make money from the game and therefore go bankrupt.
