    @Chaos: Well, it is written in Java so it is easy to put it into .jar for download. Minecraft also can be run in browser and it's a java-based game. Same is here so it should be easy enough to convert it to java desktop app from applet.

    Well, even if it isn't, for some running applets in browser adds lags if they have less RAM and like to use tweeter, facebook and have few other sites opened. Even browsers that uses small amount of RAM, can use even 1GB of it.

    So the solution would be to use downloaded client and close browser.

    Plus some people thinks that if game runs only in browser it has to be crap. They have reasoning browser game==utter shit written poorly in PHP that doesn't even use AJAX and every operation needs page refreshing. So it would be good also from marketing standpoint.

    Mounts would be awesome — not sure how much faster I can make movement before streaming isn’t fast enough. Already folks can see black areas sometimes.

    Except dragon should be fasted. Also I don't know if certain architect would like you riding of dragons.

    For switch block I suggest to give two switches, so door can be opened from two places (not necessarily both have to be placed though). This way you could have door that are opened from either side.
