That might be neat, but as pointed out, games like minecraft already have very elaborate crafting systems. Not much benefit to retreading the same path IMO

Yeah, what MDJ101 and RobbyZ said: 8bitmmo is a different game than Minecraft!
Why not use a little imagination and try to come up with new ideas to make this game more unique instead of trying to convince RobbyZ make another Minecraft clone?

Possible I might do this, but it’d be cosmetic only (no attack bonus, but it’d look cool)

Very bad idea, and it won't get implemented.
It would make all future players worse off than the beta testers and would make people not want to play the game. Sim9 has repeatedly expressed that players should be equal, so this idea will fortunately not be implemented.

I am all for new races, but elves and orchs? Really? Sorry, but this is the worst idea ever! Play any other game if all you want are these generic races!
When new races are implemented I really hope they fit the special humour and setting of this game instead of copying the same formula that everyone else is using.
Robby, I understand that you want to keep everyone happy, but please ignore these generic suggestions and trust your own artistic vision of the game instead. I trust you know what you want this game to be. Make that game a reality instead of listening to people wanting to make this into some kind of WOW light!

Well, really depends on what the penalty for death is — if it’s just a respawn, it’s not a big deal. If you lose some stuff, then yeah, I can see it being nice to have non-pvp servers also

For sure; I’m planning some PvP & Player Town Warfare rewards that should help with this. Also, more enemy types in future.
Don't know if it's possible, but it would be awesome if plants and trees would really grow over time. It would make the world evolving and would make it feel like it was more alive!
What would be even more awesome would be if some plants (weeds) could spread and take over the blocks next to them, (maybe it could take longer time for each block in z-axis) since this would both help with making the world less cluttered and look really cool!! The world would go from a world in ruins to a world being reclaimed by nature!
