Time Cycle
This would add a Time Cycle to the game. It would run on 15-minute intervals. Basically, 13 minutes would be daytime, 2 minutes would be dusk, 13 minutes would be night, and 2 minutes would be dawn, on an infinite cycle.
-At day, the world would look normal
-At dusk, everything would get a red tint, and the shadows would grow darker and bigger
-At night, everything would be pitch black, with very little light. Stuff like pumpkins, reward blocks, anything that could possibly emit light would cast out light. Streetlamps could be an optional block to add to the game with this
-At dawn, everything would get a yellow tint, and the shadows would grow smaller, similar to dusk
-Another block that could be added for map makers would be the Clock Controller, which could change the time of day.

There's no sky at all, and even if you did dim the colors or brighten them for different times of day, it would be a lag fest, also, don't post ideas if your'e not prepared to take in some criticism?

What if certain NPCs and enemys only came out at certain times of day? (Unless, obviously, you have a spawner for them, but naturally they would only come out at certain times.)

"also the graphics will cause too much lag FYI" Not neccessarily. If sim caches the graphics (complicated), it would only slightly impact FPS, if it even does.

Sounds like a good idea, but possibly too short cycles, maybe perhaps 28 minutes of day and night and still 2 minutes for dusk and dawn
