Ideas for the wilderness / the game's theme ... MUST READ ( don't you dare look away )
After watching game play of 8BitMMO I cannot wait to play the game and I cannot wait until months ahead of now to see what becomes of it.
I started thinking about the current wilderness as of now its just used as a place to build random things but It would be better used as an actual world and with that in mind I think that this game needs to be split up into parts.
Part one being the Hub World where players can meet up, go to shops around the city, and form guilds. There should be portals for player created dungeons so that other players can try to conquer them. These dungeons should have a name along with the creators name a difficulty level, rating score, and amount of money earned if completed. There should also be portals going into player made worlds which contain whatever the community can come up with. The last portal should be at the edge of town which leads into the vast unexplored wilderness.
Part Two is as you might have guessed the scary unexplored wilderness packed full with odd creatures belonging to the different biomes of the world unlike other related games in the sandbox genre this is where this game can shine on its own originality. I love the fact that you have lawyer cats and hipsters as hostile mobs in this game I think you should expand on the wacky side of this game and come up with more mobs to fit this theme.
Here are some examples of biomes and mobs to go along with it -
Futuristic Wasteland - packed full of Robots, Zombies, and Mutant Marines
Deserted Islands ( large oceans with tropical islands in them ) - containing Pirates and Seamonsters
Snowy Mountains - packed full of Yeti, Polar bears, and Ice Wizards
Those are some for example I have many more but I think you get the point.

I agree with part one, as there should be a market or something for people to sell items at, like a "shop block" that costs lots of money or a sign/chest concept seen in some minecraft plugins. though part, though the idea is amazing and i agree, the world is player built, meaning no natural generation and stuff, just people building things, as said in the game. though i feel there should be small short dungeons ( like 20x20 size wise) where blocks cannot be broken and once completed, a reward is given and the maze/dungeon is completely reset
