Scavenging, Refining, Mobs, Weapons, Items, Biomes, and Tweaks
Scavenging:
Upon wandering the wilderness, you can encounter dilapidated structures that would have a storage unit (boxes, chests, etc.), that could items ranging from blocks, to coins, weapons, and materials
Refining:
There would be a new block with an interface, the Refinery, in which you could craft swords, blocks, and new weapons
Items: The terrain and the new mobs could be put to use, from dropping Gems for swords, to giving food and reagents
Example: Finding a Geode in the world, which you then break open, to find some Green gems, which you then craft into a sword
Terrain:
The world terrain would be replaced with varying height, and actual trees, this would make it so that you can also procure materials from the wilds and decrease the influence of grinding.
Items:
Geodes: A rock found in the world/bought that you can open for a random gem
Gems: Used in crafting swords at the refinery, found from geodes and dropped by mobs
New Swords: Green Sword (stronger than red), Yellow Sword (stronger than blue), and Black Sword (strongest sword), requires [gem] and previous sword to craft
Flax: Randomly dropped when breaking grass, used for a bow
Bow: Fires slower than the Pixel Pistol and deals less damage, however has, unlimited damage, requires flax and wood to craft
Staff: Same damage as blue sword, however, has triple range, requires wood and red sword to craft (if you add gems to recipe, upgrades staff damage, A.K.A. blue staff, red staff, black staff)
Wand: Deals no damage, however can be rebound with 4 different skills, Fireball, Lightning, Health Beam, or Summon Friendly Game Reviewer
Cheezburger:
Heals player for all of their health, can be crafted with Meat Substitute, Moon Rock, and Gluten-Free Bread, is also drop by Cheezburger Cat
Swaggy Fedora:
A hat, dropped by TotalGame Reviewer, while wearing it, Game/Dire Game Reviewers will not attack you
Gluten-Free Poptart:
Heals you for half health and doubles speed
<Enter Phrase Here>:
Each attack has a chance to stun your enemy for 5 seconds, and each attack will say a Doge phrase
Basilisk Fang:
Every time you attack, the creature attacked by you will be slowed and poisoned
Mr. Bubbles:
Every attack will regen you 5 air (while underwater) and 5 hp
Ragged Cloak:
While standing still, damage will be increase by x2, and you will turn invisible, but HP will be halved
Scorching Lens:
Attacks set monsters on fire, you become immune to fire
the Two Ring:
All invisible creatures are visible and move x2 as fast
the End Times:
A sword that deals more damage than any other weapon, while it is incredibly slow, it does an AoE that does 15 damage and sets monsters on fire.
the Flute of Dread:
All players around you will have their controls inverted, and all mobs will flee away from you, if held down, a shockwave will be sent out in a circle around you, doing 10 damage
Tyrant Mandible:
A mandible that once acquired will damage any monster that attacks you, except for the Bringer of Ragnarok
Explosive Barrel:
A cliche explosive barrel, can be bought or found throughout the world
Xenovenom:
A flask of exotic venom, that will create a swarm of Xenobroods if you kill a monster or player
Bundle of Thorns:
Quadruples attack damage but you will take 1 damage for each attack
Blob of Acid:
Does 15 damage and makes the mob take double damage
Void Lens: A trinket that allows the player to teleport, however each teleport removes 5 gold
Voodoo Doll:
Upon use, (infinite uses) damage you for five health and damages everything else on screen for 10
Stuff of Nightmares:
Each attack either weakens, disarms, or slows the whatever you attack
Appendage:
Any attack will spawn a random item of low calibur (concrete slab, flax, regular sword, extra gold)
Stinkeye:
Each attack has a small chance to fear your enemy into running away
Fish Beak: Every healing item doubles in effectiveness (also works for items)
Useless Wings: Allows short periods (7s) of flight and move speed is doubled
Marble Slab:
Move speed is halved, damage is double, crit. chance is double, and health is doubled
Burning Egg:
A phoenix will now rotate around you deflecting 1/4 of all incoming projectiles (can stack 3 times)
Karrot Krown:
You will not be able to turn into a potato, but the carrot king's minions will follow you, and you gain +2 health
Staff of Undead: Spawns a frail skeleton (75% chance, zombie is 25%)
Staff of Laser: Combine a Staff of Undead with a blue gem (deals 5/s or 5 damage per second)
Staff of Meteor: Combine a Staff of Laser with a yellow gem (deals 15 AoE damage + fire)
Staff of God's Hammer: Combine a Staff of Meteor with a red gem (deals 25 damage)
Staff of Falling Skies: Combine a Staff of God's Hammer with a green gem (30 damage in an AoE)
Staff of the Endless Void: Combine a Staff of Falling Skies with a black gem (50 single target damage)
Tome of XP: Always dropped by bosses (usually 1-5 by bosses), upon use you gain 1000 xp, they are also an incredibly rare drops from regular mobs
Health Vial: Dropped by mobs, they can be drunk, however, when below 2 health, the will automagically be used.
Mobs: NOTICE: All mobs will still drop coins
Cheezburger Cat:
Leader of the LawyerCats, deals 4 damage on hit, is incredibly slow, drops Cheezburger, constantly plays the 'Can I haz Cheezburger plz' sound.
TotalGame Reviewer:
Modeled after a certain Game Reviewer (TotalBiscuit), has a ranged, laptop attack that deals two damage, can also spawn Dire Game Reviewers and Game Reviewers, drops a random sword as well as a Swaggy Fedora
Zerg Rush:
A group of zerglings that will attack 3 times together, each time doing 1 damage, drops Meat Substitue and Moon Rock
nayN Dog:
A dog that flies across the screen (can only be attack by ranged weapons) raining down columns of rainbow destruction across the screen, drops Gluten-Free Bread and Gluten-Free Poptart
Kitte:
A cat that runs around the screen spawning giant cat heads to attack you, all the while yelling phrases like, So boss fight! Need win! Etc.... Drops Meat Substitute and <Enter Phrase Here>
Basilisk:
A creature that will poison you upon attack and slow you while it is looking at you, drops Meat Substitute and Basilisk Fang
Pirahnapus:
A monster that is water exclusive, that will do 2 damage, eight times, and then retreat to regenerate health, it also has a 50% resistance to melee weapons, drops Mr. Bubbles
Shade:
A monster that can turn invisible at will, however is incredibly weak, drops Ragged Cloak and the Two Ring
Beholder:
A classic RPG mob, will fire a flaming laser at you, it can fly (can only be attacked by projectiles), drops Scorching Lens
the Bringer of Ragnarok:
A massive stone colossus that can instantly kills you, if it dies, it will drop the sword, the End Timess
Shinigami:
A frightening god of death that can control the player by inverting his controls and reflecting his attacks, will drop the Flute of Dread
Tremor Worm:
A worm that burrows through the ground, it can only be destroyed by explosives, drops Tyrant Mandible
Xenovore:
A monster that will not attack you directly, but spawn little tentacles to attack you, take out the Xenovore, the tentacles die, drops Xenovenom
Ebolic Slime:
A putrid slime that dissolves anything it touches, drops a Blob of Acid
Treefid:
A deadly flower that spits thorns and strangles the player, drops Bundle of Thorns
Crawling Monstrosity:
A nightmarish half-spider half-snake creature that can teleport, drops Void Lens
the Queen:
A monstrosity that is half spider, bird, and snake, the other half is pure viscous sludge, drops the Stuff of Nightmares and Voodoo Doll
Shoggoth:
A sludge mess of eyes, organs, and etc, and can consume other mobs to gain their health, drops Stinkeye and Appendage
Flighty Bird:
A bird that flies around and will fire flaming AoE projectiles that deal 20 damage, upon it's (near impossible) defeat, he will die and drop a Fish Beak and Useless Wings
Duckatrice: A cockatrice mated with a duck and created this monster, which acts like a weird snake from the 90s (it attacks like the game snake), drops a Marble Slab and a Burning Egg
Necrolitic Sage: A lich that will constanly spawn skeletons and hostile zombies, drops Staff of Undead
Carrot King: A hostile mob, you deal x2 damage to it if you are a potato, drops Karrot Krown, unlock Carrot race
Biomes:
Dying Glen: A dying forest featuring a cast of weaker monsters
Meteor: A meteor, the only place you can find Xenovores
Abyssal Plateau: A deadly plateau, with the most dangerous mobs, however, it's a resource goldmine
Crystal Jungle: Not too shabby, okay to deal with mobs, okay amount of resources
Quagmire: A step below the Crystal Jungle, getting there
Coastal Plains: A nice mixture of desert and plains, kind of like the current terrain
Mountains of Insanity: Totally not a ripoff of H.P. Lovecraft....ohh well, this is one of the hardest biomes
Tweaks:
- Exp. required to level up is cut in half.
- Hipsters, Lobbyist Slugs, Dire/Game Reviewers, and LawyerCats drop gems, HP Vials, Tomes of XP, and rarely, a (medium non-boss weapon)
-Terrain in the world will vary and have ruins and dungeons
-Rarely, you can encounter dungeons with (mob) spawners, that can be harvested, this way, you could harvest certain spawners for a quest (but not a farm)
-The zombie NPC will give random quests to kill (X) amount of (X) mob, which will give random gold and xp rewards
-Reward blocks can also be found in the dungeons
-Player-made quests can be redone each day
-Quests from the zombie (and Draco) can also award: blocks, items, reagents, and weapons
