Script Blocks and Script Items
Basically it goes by like this.
Script Blocks are in different kinds and used for different stuff, but they trigger actions.
You "script" them via a GUI, and connect them to trigger different kind of stuff!
This would be very usable for Player-Made "adventure" maps!
Here is a set of my suggestions.
Script Blocks :
Player Detector Script Block (PDSB) : (yeah that is a long time). Player steps on the hidden script block and triggers an event. This also goes for Doors.
Spawner Script Block : Triggered by the PDSB, it spawns a certain amout of monsters. Can be modified to respawn more after a certain number is killed.
This can also spawn blocks and such!
Despawning Script Block: Triggered by the PDSB, it despawns either : block, monster or an item.
Chat Script Block: Triggered by PDSB, it is like a sign, but hidden. Usefull for some Boss, or use it for your imagination.
Item Detector Block: Detects a specific item in a specific range, it triggers like a PDSB.
Quest Item Detector Script Block : Almost like the Item Detector Block but only detects Quest Items.
Script Items :
Player Detector Script Item : Does just the same as the PDSB. But when triggered, it despawns and respawns for an another player to come. The Item is picked up when triggered, to be used for an another time.
Quest Script Item : Used for Quest's and can be anything. It triggers only Quest Item Detector Script Block.
Spawner Script Item : When picked up, a certain number of monster, blocks or anything spawns. Can be modified to spawn more monsters after a certain number of monsters are killed.
That is my suggestion!
Hope you liked it!
